Mingfu Group’s brand story is rooted in the vision of founder Chen Fu-sung, a commitment to environmental protection, and the practice of social responsibility.
01 Personal Origin
In 1964, Mr. Chen Fu-Sung left school to support his family, taking on responsibilities at a young age. After completing his military service in 1973, he began a small business venture with determination and perseverance. Despite numerous challenges, these early experiences shaped his resilience and laid the foundation for his future entrepreneurial vision.
02 Laying the Foundation
In 1975, during Taiwan’s era of rapid industrial growth, Mr. Chen demonstrated remarkable foresight by entering the ship dismantling and ferrous hardware classification industries. His persistence and forward-thinking mindset led to the establishment of Ming Fong Enterprise Co., Ltd. in 1976, marking a solid beginning in the scrap metal recycling sector and setting the cornerstone for what would later become the Mingfu Group.
03 Environmental Vision
Guided by a deep commitment to environmental sustainability, Mr. Chen expanded his ventures into the resource regeneration and environmental engineering sectors. Beginning in 1983, he successively founded several companies—including Green Environmental Engineering Co., Big South Resource Regeneration Co., Jing Lian Chang Resources and Technology Co., FuXingDing Renewable Energy Circulation Technology Co., and Ming Ren Resource Technology Co. These milestones signified the Mingfu Group’s strategic transformation toward diversification and professionalization in the green industry, laying a long-term foundation for Taiwan’s circular economy and environmental innovation.

In 2017, the “Outstanding Enterprise Manager Association” (OEMA) presented the 18th “Golden Peak Award” for Outstanding Enterprises.
Taiwan Top Reputed Brand and Taiwan Outstanding Corporate Talent Model Award
On August 17, 2020, awarded “Taiwan Top Reputed Brand” and “Taiwan Outstanding Corporate Talent Model Award” by the “China Quality Enterprise Economic and Trade Development Association.”
Resource Circulation Visionary Award
In the field of circular sustainability and environmental protection, our corporate performance reflects the implementation of ESG, alignment with national new energy policies, and a direct response to the United Nations Climate Change Conference “2050 Net-Zero Emissions” goal. On November 16, 2022, we were honored with the “Resource Circulation Visionary Award,” the highest recognition in the national management evaluation by the “Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan.”
Local Commitment Pioneer Appreciation Award
On December 11, 2023, KPMG presented the “Local Commitment Pioneer Appreciation Award.”
ESG Green Sustainability Golden Heritage Award
On November 2, 2023, honored with the “ESG Green Sustainability Golden Heritage Award” at the Chinese Public Welfare Festival, presented personally by Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an.
Golden Image Award for Overseas Chinese Outstanding Brands
On January 18, 2024, the “Chinese Industry, Commerce, Economy, and Trade Science and Technology Development Association” presented the “Golden Image Award for Overseas Chinese Outstanding Brands.”

Caring for Local Communities in Southern Taiwan
The migration of the southern population has led to the loss of young labor in rural areas, resulting in declining local economic development, fewer job opportunities, and challenges to livelihood. The founding family of Mingfu Group originates from Madou, Tainan. Driven by a deep love for this land and concern for its development, the founder decided to devote every effort to giving back to his hometown.
As the Group continues to expand, multiple factories have been planned and established in the Madou Industrial Park. We prioritize hiring local residents from southern Taiwan, creating job opportunities for the community and the younger generation. This encourages youth to remain and develop in their hometown while giving back to the local area.

Responding to community care, we sponsored the Benevolent Bento program in Antong Community, Sanmin District, Kaohsiung City. This initiative helps the elderly, disabled, and underprivileged individuals enjoy free vegetarian meals, providing them not only with a hearty meal but also with the warmth of society.
At the bento distribution site, piping hot vegetarian meals were handed out one by one. It is more than just a daily routine to fill the stomach; it is a source of warmth that shows people they are cared for and remembered.

While a communal meal may seem ordinary, it is a rare and precious moment for these women. Chen Yi-chieh sponsored the “Warm Reunion Dinner” hosted by the foundation, allowing women under their protection to enjoy a heartfelt lunar new year meal.
